[Class 38 (i)] A contact-holder for plug-and-socket connectors comprises an insulating plate 1 carrying contacts 5, e.g. sockets of the type described in Specifications. 352,102, arranged in a circle, the plate being enclosed in an insulating housing comprising a tubular body 2, open at both ends, and a flanged cover 3 secured thereon by screws 15. A central boss 16 on the cover retains the plate against a flange 9 at one end of the body, the sockets being inwardly directed. The plate is prevented from rotating within the body by providing it with spaced notches 10 which co-operate with inwardlyextending projections 11 on the body. A cord grip 22 of the construction described in Specification 598,071 may be provided in a recess 23 in the body. Specification 321,131, [Class 39 (ii)], also is referred to.
