The support element supports an elastically deformable damper element (24) in the damper element fitting (26) of a torsional vibration damper on either side of the damper, or on a further elastic deformable damper element. It includes a roller bearing unit (66) carried by a support element body (64), and movable on the support surface (58) of the damper. The roller bearing unit has at least one roller bearing (68) carried by a carrying element (72) on the support element body.
