A closing device (10, 110, 210) for an opening part of a piece of furniture comprises a magnetic detent (13, 113, 213) for retention of the part in a closed position in combination with a thrust "pull-push" mechanism (14, 114, 15, 115, 214, 215) for detachment from the magnetic detent upon command, so as to cause opening of the opening part of the piece of furniture.
