<p>A method of manufacture of a moulded plastics article involves providing a plastics material including a filler; moulding the material to form an article; and abrading one or more surfaces of the moulded article. By abrading the article filler is exposed on the surface of the article giving the article a more uniform colour than would otherwise be the case where recycled plastics materials are used. The method is particularly suited to the manufacture of construction products such as facing stones driveway blocks, kerbstones and gully covers.</p> |
