606,978. Electric heating panels. BORGHESAN, H. Dec. 14, 1945, No. 33955. Convention date, Dec. 14, 1944. [Class 39(iii)] [Also in Group XIII] In radiating panels comprising elongated heating or cooling elements encased in concrete, the heat exchange elements are arranged in at least two different planes parallel to the radiating surface of the panel, the elements in one plane forming an angle with respect to the other elements. The panel comprises a concrete block J mounted on insulation i on a concrete floor p, the more deeply embedded tubular element f<1> receiving water at a higher temperature than the element f located at the upper part of the panel and the tubes of the elements being arranged at right angles to each other. The tubes where they intersect may be tied together by wires l. In a modification the inlet of one element may be joined to the outlet of the other. If electric heating is employed the elements f, f may comprise any of the usual types of conductors. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 described with reference to Figs. 5-21 (Cancelled) (not shown), many variations in the configuration of the upper and lower nests of tubes and also other methods of tying intersecting tubes together. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. |
