FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of control of internal combustion engine with air intake system, basing on at least one control value and at least one measured value characterizing condition of ambient air by means of one model, one value characterizing parameters of air intake system is determined. Said model consists of at least first and second submodels. Output values are determined by means of submodel basing on input values. Used as input values for first submodel, apart from at least one output value of second submodel, control value and measured value are taken into account.
