FIELD: the invention refers to locking pipeline fittings particular to checking tightness of the breech mechanism in time of exploitation. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is designed to increase the time of service of pipeline fitting by way of carrying in time a preventive repair on the basis of measurement of actual value of leakage which depends on wearing of sealing fields. This result is achieved due to the fact that the definition of the value of leakage is made depending on direction of working medium at closed breech mechanism along one of the free channels connected with ring grooves fulfilled on the sealing field of the breach mechanism. ^ EFFECT: increases time of service of a pipeline fitting. ^ 2 dwg
