FIELD: automotive industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: thermoplastic protecting jacket (1) comprises corrugated member (3) connected with setting parts (4, 5) of greater and smaller diameter used for setting pivot (2) on housing (6) and shaft (7) and subsequent securing it by means of yokes (8,9). Wall (11) of each wall pair (11,12) of the corrugations connected through hollow (10) is provided with two folders (14,15) arranged over the axial section of jacket (1) in the zone of hollow (10). Stiffening member (16) is made between the folders. Setting part (4,5) of jacket is curved to define wavy projections. Two end wavy projections (17) face inward and are in a contact with one of parts (6,7) of the pivot after yokes (8,9) of setting part (4,5) are set in operation. The remainder three wavy projections have trancated tips (19). Projection (2) face inward and is in a contact with one of appropriate parts of the pivot, and projections (21) face outward and are in a contact with one of yokes (8,9). ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability and prolonged service life. ^ 5 cl, 3 dwg |
