The wavelength of the ultraviolet radiation used ranges from 185 to 400 nm, pulse duration ranges from 1 ms to 10 ms, and density of pulse radiation power at the product to be treated is at least 100 kW/m2. The device comprise charging unit, source of ultraviolet radiation, means for transporting the product to be treated, and unit for discharging.
