FIELD: plant growing, in particular, preparing seeds of various plants for planting procedure. ^ SUBSTANCE: encapsulated planting material has seed placed within multilayer capsule containing all components needed for each stage of initial plant growing period and used in the following ratios, wt%: organic and mineral nutrient substances 7-70; filler 7-70; fungicide 0.001-0.01; binder 0.5-5.0; water the balance. Method involves providing encapsulation of planting material by sequentially applying onto seeds the following layers: first layer including fungicide and binder; second layer including nutrient mixture, filler and binder used in various ratios; and third outer layer including filler and binder. Such composition of encapsulated planting material allows stock of nutritive substances, moisture and air desirable at each stage of forming sprout and developed root system to be provided. Multilayer structure of capsule enables peculiarities of each kind of plants to be taken into consideration in selecting of nutritive mixture composition for encapsulation of respective seed. ^ EFFECT: general-purpose nature of encapsulated planting material allowing usage thereof in plant growing to be substantially widened. ^ 17 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 18 ex |
