FIELD: thermal engineering; hot-water supply systems for residential buildings. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed hot-water supply system has water intake devices connected through hot-water pipeline to electric water heater and the latter is also connected to cold drinking water pipeline and spent hot water drain line; connected to drinking-water pipeline upstream of electric water heater is heat pump condenser whose evaporator is connected to spent hot water drain line. ^ EFFECT: enhanced economic efficiency of hot-water supply, reduced power requirement, enhanced use of hot-water heat. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg |
