FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, medicine, phytotherapy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing biologically active compound from vegetable raw possessing cholagogic and hepatoprotective action. Method for preparing 1-hydroxy-2,3,5-trimethoxyxanthone possessing cholagogic and hepatoprotective action involves three-fold extraction of milled air-dried above-ground part of plant horny halenia (Halenia corniculata L., Cornaz) with 96% ethyl alcohol, filtering off alcoholic extracts, concentrating alcoholic extracts, three-fold liquid-phase extraction of an aqueous residue with chloroform, evaporation of combined chloroform extracts, addition of silica gel and concentrating. Then method involves chromatography on column with silica gel using a mixture of solvents - hexane/ethyl acetate taken in the definite ratio, concentrating and recrystallization from ethanol twice. Method provides effective enhancing the yield of the end product, i. e. 1-hydroxy-2,3,5-trimethoxyxanthone. ^ EFFECT: improved preparing method. ^ 3 tbl, 4 ex |
