FIELD: manufacture of transformable furniture. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed furniture has soft members of back, seat and lying place secured on frame of seat base. Framework is formed by seat base with rolling-out section inserted in it and frame of back; base of seat is formed by horizontally oriented frame with small frames oriented vertically and welded to its lateral sides. Small frames are used as guides for contact wheels with beads of rolling-out section. Upper and lower soft members located on base of seat in "couch" position are articulated together by means of cloth over edge of cushions on swivel axle transformable from "couch" position to "bed" position. Upper soft member is combination of cushions of seat and back and stiffening member is secured on rear side. Inner ends of small frames of seat base are provided with axles with two rollers: large roller adjoining the small frame and small roller. Mechanism for fixing the foldable support position is mounted between wheel supports of rolling-out section and frame of seat base. This mechanism has axle with locking head which is mounted on bracket of support below articulation of frame with rolling-out section and locking plate with slot. Opposite end of plate is articulated to frame of rolling-out section. This furniture is easy in use due to double folding of detachable member in "couch" position forming berth in "bed" position whose sizes exceed sizes of its base. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability. ^ 5 cl, 5 dwg |
