PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a fixing means with a devised rigid tip seat is desired in view of a conventional carbide tip fixing means weak in bonding strength because side faces and a bottom face are fixed only by brazing. SOLUTION: Recessed grooves 2 are provided in a plurality of parts on the outer periphery of a circular saw body 1, and the carbide tips 3 are fitted into the recessed grooves 2 and fixed by brazing. The carbide tip 3 is fitted in a state of keeping a space with a short side face 2c of the recessed groove 2, and the carbide tip 3 is fixed to a long side face 2a and a bottom face 2b of the recessed groove 2 by brazing. Further the sides of the short side face 2c of the recessed groove 2 are clamped and crushed from both faces with a caulking tool to hold down the carbide tip 3 by the side face 2c.
