JACQUARD KNITTED FABRIC AND METHOD FOR KNITTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitting method for jacquard knitted fabric allowing a strong raising treatment without using specific yarn with excellent raising property. SOLUTION: The method for knitting jacquard knitting comprises forming a jacquard knitted fabric suitable for raising by forming knitted loops of the raising yarn in big size and covering a loop of the ground yarn by separately knitting yarn constituting the jacquard structure (ground yarn) and yarn for raising (brush yarn) through a same feeder. The jacquard knitted fabric obtained by the knitting method allows a strong raising treatment as the raising yarn exist on the surface of the knitted fabric and the raising treatment hardly effects on the loops of ground yarn constituting the jacquard knitted yarn, as a result a jacquard knitted fabric with dense suede tone is obtained.
