<p>A method is described for providing a steroid-sparing benefit to a subject that is in need of, or that is presently receiving, a corticosteroid, the method comprising administering to the subject a cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor in combination with a corticosteroid. Therapeutic compositions, pharmaceutical compositions and kits that are useful for implementing the present method are also described.</p> |
