<p>A method and apparatus for selecting preferred pages of teletext includes extracting teletext information from broadcast signals, sequentially displaying teletext information pages on a screen when teletext mode is requested. When a selection mode for pages is requested displaying classification categories of the extracted teletext and limiting the pages displayed to those categories selected by a user. The classification categories may be those identifiers used in the basic top table of the teletext information.</p> |
