PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining metal fitting of mutual members of a simple structure, a joining structure, and a joining method, capable of transmitting both stresses of compressive force and tensile force. SOLUTION: Joining hardware 7 having a side opening groove-shaped cross section arranged on the upper floor side and the lower floor side at an interval in the shaft direction of a bolt 4 and fixed to a vertical frame material 11 of the respective floors, is respectively arranged on one bolt 4 having the length arrangeable in the vertical direction over the vertical frame material of the upper floor and the vertical frame material of the lower floor. The bolt is detachably fitted in a side opening groove in the respective joining hardware 7. The joining hardware 7 is formed as the joining metal fitting 1 of the mutual members installed in the longitudinal direction of the bolt 4 so that a position can be fixed. The joining hardware arranged on the respective upper-lower floors in the joining hardware is allowed to abut on a vertical side surface of the vertical frame material 11 of the respective floors, and is fixed by a fastener material of a drill screw 24 driven in in the sideways direction over the joining hardware 7 and the vertical frame material 11.
