PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral facility retrieval device capable of retrieving a desired facility by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a route calculation means 12 for calculating a route following a designated condition; a facility retrieval condition setting means 15 for setting a genre of a facility to be retrieved; a route peripheral facility retrieval means 18 for retrieving a facility in the genre set by the facility retrieval condition setting means along a route acquired by calculation by the route calculation means; a peripheral facility retrieval means 17 for retrieving a facility in the periphery of a specific spot; and a facility retrieval condition determination means 16 for starting the route peripheral facility retrieval means when the facility retrieval condition is in the initial state, and, when a facility in the genre set by the facility retrieval condition setting means cannot be retrieved by the route peripheral facility retrieval means, changing automatically the facility retrieval condition, and starting the peripheral facility retrieval means, to thereby retrieve the facility in the periphery of the specific spot.
