PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that has a structural and functional characteristic for avoiding a weak point of a conventional technology and automatically attaches and detaches a tire. SOLUTION: A tire detaching machine 100 comprises a lower base 101 joined to a rotation supporting means 102 of a rim 201 of a wheel 120, a pole 103 joined to the base 101 and extending perpendicularly, and a horizontally supporting arm 104 joined to the pole 103. This automatic tire attaching/detaching device 1 is jointed to the tire detaching machine 100, and is used for attaching the tire 100 to the rim 201 of the wheel 120 or detaching the tire 100 from the rim 201. The device comprises a movable shaft 2b slidable horizontally on the arm 104, a joint connecting parallelogram section formed of a tire detaching tool 4, a pair of facing connection rods 13 and 14, a body 6 fixed to the lower end part of the movable shaft 2b, and an operation lever 7 suitable for transferring from a retrieval form to a form of pulling out a bead 202' from the rim 210.
