PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quantity sensor capable of reducing cost furthermore by simplifying assembly man-hours. SOLUTION: This water quantity sensor 1 has a constitution wherein, a shaft 6 is formed integrally on a body 4 mounted so as to block an opening part 3 opened on the side wall of a pipe 2, so as to be arranged along the center axis when being mounted on the pipe 2, and an impeller 7 driven rotatively by receiving a water flow is supported rotatably by the shaft 6, and a magnetometric sensor 8 is installed in the body 4. The impeller 7 is constituted of magnetic blades, and a change of a magnetic field generated by rotation thereof is detected by the magnetometric sensor 8. The impeller 7 and the magnetometric sensor 8 are constituted insertably simultaneously into the opening part 3 on the side wall of the pipe 2, to thereby simplify the assembly man-hours, and to reduce assembly cost.
