The invention relates to a horn antenna for a level measuring device, which operates with microwaves and with which level measurements can be carried out in the immediate vicinity of the horn antenna. The horn antenna comprises a horn (1), which is open in the direction of emission and which, in the direction of emission (S), terminates with a horn edge (3), and the inside of the horn (1) is provided with an inhomogeneity (11, 15) situated at a distance from the horn edge (3), whereby during emission, microwaves are reflected by the inhomogeneity (11, 15) and by the horn edge (3), and the reflecting microwaves are canceled out at least in part by negative interference. |
