The device (1) for the converting of wave energy into electrical energy has at least one stationary central unit (2) and at a distance from at least one floating tank (17) with a chamber (18) connected to the central unit by a flexible or articulated connecting line system (22). The inlet or outlet of the connecting line system runs into an energy converter (21) to convert flow energy into electrical energy. The central unit is in the form of a caisson standing or fastened on the sea bed. The position of the caisson is secured by stabilizers (3,4) fitted on the sides.
