<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup control device and a program capable of performing always optimum image pickup by suppressing the consumption of energy. <P>SOLUTION: In a step 110, near infrared light is projected from a main projector 3, and in a step 120, image pickup is performed by a main camera 1. In a step 130, near infrared light is projected from a sub-projector 7, and in a step 140, image pickup is performed by a sub-camera 5. In a step 160, a face position is detected. Namely a distance from a face is calculated by the principle of a trigonometrical survey by using images picked up by the main camera 1 and the sub-camera 5. Thereby at the second light projection and after, the preferable ight projection quantity (namely the power of the main projector 3) of near infrared light projected from the main projector 3 is calculated in accordance with distances between respective cameras 1, 5 and the face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
