<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an endoscope operator or a caretaker to selectively perform an operation and allow the endoscope operator and the caretaker to simultaneously perform operations. <P>SOLUTION: This treatment appliance 1 is provided with a distal end treatment section 4 in the distal end of a flexible insertion tube 5. The distal end treatment section 4 is oppositely disposed with a biopsy cup 2 constituting a first treatment section 12 and a biopsy cup 3 constituting a second treatment section 13. The first treatment section 12 is connected to a first operating section 6 via a first operating wire 21 and the second treatment section 13 is connected to a second operating section 7 via a second operating wire 32.
