PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus capable of obtaining non-linear signals from inside a living body highly sensitively and with high penetration. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is a contrast harmonic image apparatus using a contrast agent for low sound pressure. Non-linear signals are extracted by a filter means for performing a filtering with at least two different central frequencies and band widths or a process equivalent to the filtering based on a plurality of ultrasonic echoes obtained by transmitting ultrasonic waves with modulated amplitude and phase to the same scanning line a plurality of times under the injection of the contrast agent. The ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus also has a means for weighting and adding the extracted signals according to the depth of the subject. With this structure, an image with a good S/N ratio to the depth even with low sound pressure can be obtained by extracting non-linear signals in a basic frequency band.
