PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing method using a deodorizing filter which is installed in an indoor unit blowing circuit of an air-conditioner for removing odor components in a room space while maintaining high deodorizing performance without the need for care and replacement. SOLUTION: In the air-conditioner, the odor components in room air adsorbed during operation by the deodorizing filter 10 provided in an indoor unit 8 are heated by a heating means 15, desorbed from the deodorizing filter 10 and discharged through a ventilating fan 9 to the outside. Thus, the deodorizing performance of the deodorizing filter 10 is recovered and the deodorizing capability thereof is kept always high without the need for care and replacement.
