PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding-type mobile telephone set whose antenna will not protrudes. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone set has a 1st housing part, where operation buttons are arrayed and a 2nd housing part provided with a liquid crystal display screen, those housing parts being foldable on their connection part. The 2nd housing part has an absent part, whose length is smaller than that of the 1st housing part, which has a projection part projected at a position, corresponding to the absent part; when the 1st housing part and 2nd housing part are folded, the absent part and projection part meet each other and the length of the 2nd housing part and the length of the 1st housing part apparently becomes nearly equal to each other.
