PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of an electric control valve by manufacturing a pipe-like main body and a valve seat member by press work. SOLUTION: The electric control valve 1 includes the pipe-like valve main body 10 to which the valve seat member 11 is secured. An attraction element 12 magnetized by an electromagnetic coil 15 attracts a plunger 17 so that a ball-like valve element 18 opens or closes an orifice 11a. The dimension D<SB>1</SB>of an outer diameter of the valve main body 10 is changed according to the capacity of the electric control valve 1. The valve seat member 11 is a common member, and the dimension of an inner diameter of the valve main body is reduced so as to correspond to the dimension of an outer diameter of the valve seat member.
