STERILIZER FOR POWDERY MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer for powdery materials continuously sterilizing powdery materials such as powdery food and also effectively sterilizing a powdery material contained in the inside of a laminated powdery material. SOLUTION: This sterilizer for powdery materials has the following structure and mechanism: the powdery material 17 supplied from a powder supplying device 18 is charged into a rotary drum 1 rotatably put sideways; an ultraviolet-ray lamp or an ultraviolet-ray flash lamp 16 is set in the rotary drum 1; the inner surface of the rotary drum 1 is finished to become a mirror plane 24; and a stirring plate 25 is attached to the inner wall surface of the rotary drum 1. The powdery material 17 is subjected to ultraviolet-ray sterilization while the rotary drum 1 rotates to repeat such action as to raise up the powdery material 17 and then fall it down so as to move the powdery material to a drainage side.
