PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit loaded with an IR (Infrared) interface circuit and a serial interface circuit, and to provide an information processor using it. SOLUTION: This interface circuit comprises an output terminal, a light interface circuit part outputting input data as light, a serial interface circuit part outputting the input data as a serial data, a first switch selecting the light interface circuit part or the serial interface circuit part for the input signal, first and second inverting circuits inverting the output signals of the light interface circuit part and the serial interface circuit part, and a selection control means selecting the serial interface circuit part by the first switch in resetting and passing only the second inverting circuit by the second switch.
