PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent and a method capable of measuring a transferrin-transferrin receptor complex (Tf-TfR complex) by a simple operation. SOLUTION: The present invention provides the Tf-TfR complex measuring reagent constituted of an insoluble particle immobilized with a substance having affinity to the TfR, and a method for measuring the Tf-TfR complex, using the reagent. An antibody to the Tf or the TfR is favorable as the affinity substance. A TfR measuring range is expanded by a measuring technique for the Tf-TfR complex due to a particle aggregation reaction of an excellent operability in the present invention to allow the measurement over a wide concentration range without diluting the sample. The expansion of the measuring range is effective, in particular, when measuring the TfR as a diagnostic marker for a hematopoietic function. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
