摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraoral hygienic condition inspection device capable of investigating easily and objectively a hygienic condition in an own oral cavity, even by a general user having no expert knowledge. SOLUTION: This inspection device is provided with a cell 21 for holding a sample collected from an inside of the oral cavity and suspended in a liquid, a measuring part 26 for measuring the number of microorganisms in the sample, and a control part 28 for controlling the measuring part 26. The measuring part 26 is provided with a light source 22 for making a light beam get incident into the cell 21, a photodetector 24 for detecting light scattered in the cell 21, an electric power source circuit for emitting the light from the light source 22, and a detection circuit for detecting light intensity of the scattered light detected by the photodetector 24, and the number of the microorganisms in the sample is detected quantitatively by detecting luminous energy of the scattered light when making the light beam get incident into the sample, in the detection circuit, so as to provide a basis for determining the intraoral hygienic condition.
