<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive two-photon absorption compound, a two-photon photochemical reaction system for efficiently conducting excitation energy acquired by the above compound to a recording reaction, and further a material used for a signal amplification mechanism for realizing a high transfer rate. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a polymeric composition produced by dispersing at least two-photon absorption compound and dye precursor having color development by an oxidation reaction into a polymeric compound, a polymerizable composition comprising the polymeric composition and a polymerizable compound, and a two-photon optical recording medium which includes the polymeric composition or polymerizable composition, and utilizes two-photon absorption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
