<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of interference between a data receiving operation and a reporting operation in an electromagnetic induction type biological information measuring apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A detected signal (a) transmitted from a heartbeat detecting section 103 is received at a receiving section 301 using electromagnetic induction. A control section 304 then stops the receiving operation of the receiving section 301 for a period of 80% of an average heartbeat time (c), and while the receiving operation is stopped, a sound reporting section 307 synchronizes with each heartbeat and reports the heartbeat.
