PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input protection circuit having sufficient electrostatic breakdown tolerance, which can be manufactured without changing a manufacturing process, while suppressing increase in space occupied by the input protection circuit. SOLUTION: The input protection circuit includes an input terminal 100 for receiving an input signal; first power source terminals 200 and 300 for receiving a first power source potential; first protection power source lines 2 and 3 connected to the first power source terminals 200 and 300, for supplying the first power source potential to only an input protection transistor; first input protection transistors 4 and 5 of a first conductivity type, having drains 4d and 5d connected to the input terminal 100, and having gates 4g and 5g and sources 4s and 5s connected to the first protection power source lines 200 and 300 respectively; and second first conductivity-type input protection transistors 7 and 8, having gates 7g and 8g connected to the input terminal 100 via a protective resistor 6, having sources 7s and 8s connected to the first protection power source lines 2 and 3 respectively, and having drains 7d and 8d connected to the input of an internal circuit 50.
