PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain communication between an upper node and a lower node which is delivered of a signal, from a failed lower driver IC. SOLUTION: When a failure-detecting section 20a detects failure in any one of driver ICs 12b-15b, communication path 12e-15e of any one of driver ICs 12b-15b thus detected is disconnected, by making one of the corresponding path disconnection switches 12c-15c operate. Furthermore, the communication path 12e-15e of the failed driver IC 12b-15b is switched to an adjacent normal communication path 12e-15e, by making one of adjacent connection change-over switches 12d-15d operate.
