PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common mode filter in which a conductor is not damaged when it is fixed to an electrode and is not removed easily from the electrode after it is fixed thereto. SOLUTION: A pair of flange parts 3 and 3 are provided at the opposite ends of a core section 2, trench parts 3a and 3b inclining toward the core section 2 side are made in the top surface 3A of the flange part 3, a series of electrodes 5A-1, 5A-2 and 5A are provided across the inclining part 3a-1, the wall face part 3a-2 of the trench part 3a and the non-trench part of the top surface 3A, the trench part 3b is also provided with an electrode 5B, and the like, and a protrusion 3F is provided between the trench parts 3a and 3b. Conductors 4A and 4B wound around the core section 2 are distributed in the trench parts 3a and 3b by the protrusion 3F and connected with the electrodes 5A-1 and 5B-1. The conductor 4A is connected on two planes of the electrodes 5A-1 and 5A-2, and the conductor 4B is connected similarly.
