PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller setting an internal register without using a controlling I/F. SOLUTION: In the case of setting and changing the value of a register 16, the value to be set is inputted as input image data 22. When a mode changeover signal 32 is inputted in this state, a mode changeover part 17 changes over the operation mode of the display controller to a register setting mode, thereby fetching the value of the image data 23 at this time into the register 16.
