PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aircraft engine for allowing a fail-safe system to continue accepting thrust force, when one of the members of a forward suspension is damaged. SOLUTION: The engine for aircraft includes a suspension means to the structure of the aircraft comprising a force acceptance means between engine cowling and the structure of the aircraft and a fail-safe means. In the engine, the fail-safe means includes an assembly comprising a safety cover having two projections 31, 32, and a strip or other equivalent means arranged between the two projections. One of the cover and the strip is coupled to one member of the engine cowling, the other is coupled to the structure, a standby safety shaft 35 perpendicular to the axis of the engine passes through both of them, and the two projections 31, 32 and the strip are in parallel with the axis of the engine.
