PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pencil type cosmetic which is free from a deterioration in properties of a core material due to a transfer of liquid components to a shaft material from the core material constituted of a cosmetic containing a liquid article and is restricted in formulas for the core material. SOLUTION: In the pencil type cosmetic using wood for the outer packaging shaft material, the shaft material has a part making contact with the core material constituted of at least the cosmetics treated with a fluorinated organic compound. Especially, the core material is constituted of the cosmetic containing the liquid material including the liquid components of at least 15 percent by mass in the temperature of 40°C.
