PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing door device for an elevator capable of maintaining sufficient smoke-shielding performance by suppressing generation of a gap due to inclination of a door panel. SOLUTION: The device is provided with four sheets of door panels 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b making every two sheets as one pair, arranged while deviating positions to each other so as to be superposed at front and rear sides, arranged in the state that they are superposed at the front and rear sides in a different step by moving them from shutter box parts 12a, 12b to a doorstop side at different speeds and closing an entrance/exit 2 of the landing of the elevator. When the respective pairs of door panels 10a, 10b and 11a, 11b are moved to the doorstop side at the different speeds to close the entrance/exit 2, deviation movement of the door panels 10b, 11b with slow movement speed to the shutter box side is restricted by engaging the respective pairs of door panels 10a, 10b and 11a, 11b with an engagement piece 20 each other.
