PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring dispensing method capable of smoothly dispensing a plurality of product metal rings one by one without manual work, which are formed by cutting a thin sheet drum made of metal, thereby remarkably improving work efficiency, and a device for the method. SOLUTION: After a plurality of metal rings W are formed by cutting a drum held by a drum holding mechanism, the metal rings W which are released from the holding of the drum holding mechanism are mounted on a feed rotary shaft 2. Subsequently the feed rotary shaft 2 is rotated. A spiral feed groove 9 is provided on an outer periphery of the feed rotary shaft 2. By rotating the feed rotary shaft 2, the metal rings W are moved along the feed groove 9, and each metal ring W is subsequently dispensed one by one from the distal end of the feed rotary shaft 2.
