[PROBLEMS] To provide a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of lipid metabolism disorder. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a pharmaceutical composition comprising, as an active ingredient, (2S)-2-benzyl-3-(cis-hexahydro-2-isoindolinylcarbonyl)propionic acid(common name: mitiglinide) or its pharmacologically acceptable salt, or a hydrate thereof. This pharmaceutical composition exerts a striking lipid metabolism improving effect, so that it is useful for, for example, hyperlipemia, such as hypertriglyceridemia, of diabetic patients. |
