A battery watering device, comprising a reservoir for supplying water to the said battery, with the gas inside the said reservoir communicating with that inside the said battery; a solenoid valve provided on the pipeline of supplying water; a liquid-level sensor provided inside the said battery; a controller for processing the detection signal from the liquid level sensor in order to control the turning-on/off of solenoid valve, wherein when the said liquid-level sensor detects that the liquid-level inside the battery drops to the lower limit value, the said controller turns on the solenoid valve so as to supply water to the said battery, when the said liquid-level sensor detects that the liquid level inside the battery rises to the upper limit value, the said controller turns off the solenoid valve so as to stop supplying water to the said battery. The watering device of the present invention may further comprise the unilateral valve provided at vent-pipe connected to the battery, so that the gas generated inside the said battery may be discharged into the atmosphere via the unilateral valve, while the gas of the atmosphere is not able to enter the said battery via the unilateral valve. |
