<p>The profile (13) is heated to a hardening temperature, formed in a forming tool (2), and cooled. During the cooling process, a perforation tool (12) forms an aperture in the profile, and is withdrawn immediately afterwards. The tool is moved from a rest position, through the profile, back into rest position, in one uninterrupted movement. The perforation tool is part of the forming tool, and has a cutting punch (5) with hydraulic drive.</p> |
