摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a client host capable of learning authentication failure information.

SOLUTION: Information regarding a reason for the authentication failure of a client host 3 is added to a packet of a protocol based on IGMP or MLD which is a multicast control packet between the client host 3 and a router device 2, thereby notifying the reason of the authentication failure from the routing device 2 to the client host 3.
