摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a state of a safety valve of a lithium-ion battery by a simple circuit. SOLUTION: The lithium-ion battery 400 has a structure in which serially-connected four battery cells 410, 420, 430, 440. Safety valves 416, 426, 436, 446 are installed on the upper faces of respective battery cells. This safety valve 416 is constituted of a metal foil 416A and a rupturing line 416B. A conductor wire 418C, which is cut when the inner pressure of the lithium ion battery 400 rises and accordingly the metal foil 416A becomes ruptured along the rupturing line 416B is integrally installed with the metal foil 416A consisting the safety valve 416.
