PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display panel which can prevent decrease in display quality caused by irregularity on a joined face. SOLUTION: An image display panel is produced in such a manner that cells 8 each separated from others by partition walls 4 are formed between two opposing substrates 1, 2 at least one of which is transparent, particle groups or a powder fluid 3 is sealed in the cells 8, and an electric field is applied on the particle groups or the powder fluid 3 to move the particles or the powder fluid 3, wherein the entire or a part of the partition walls 4 comprise a light shielding layer 11 having≤20% transmittance for visible rays (380 nm to 780 nm wavelength).
