PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device to automatically adjust the distance between gears using thrust force in the gear device to generate thrust force accompanied by the torque transmission owing to the engagement in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The gear device is comprised of the gears upon which force acts in the radial direction and the axial direction followed by the torque transmission owing to the engagement. A displacement transforming mechanism to generate the displacement in the reverse direction to the action direction of the radial direction force owing to the gear displacement to the action direction of the axial direction force is provided in a bearing support of the gears.
